Kim Kardashian Talks Baby Names: South West Is "the Stupidest Thing"

It looks like Southwest Airlines is safe, because Kim Kardashian has no plans to name her future child after another direction. The pregnant-again reality star, 34, opened up about potential names for her second baby during an appearance on NPR’s “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” broadcast on Saturday, June 13.

When the host began suggesting direction-centric names in foreign languages to keep true to the Kardashian’s “K-name” rule, the Selfish author quickly stopped him.

“I don’t like South West, though, because North will always be better and she has a better direction,” Kanye West’s wife said. “So I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think we’ll go with another direction. Everyone keeps on saying South, and I think it’s so stupid. It’s the stupidest thing ever.”

Last week Us Weekly broke the news that the couple is expecting a baby boy.

“Kim always wanted two kids, a girl and a boy,” a Kardashian pal told Us. And Nori’s little brother will have his hands full with his sis, who turned 2 on Monday, June 15. Kardashian said that North is already following in her footsteps.

“I had Khloe babysitting her maybe a couple weeks ago over the weekend one day, and they sent me a photo of the both of them and Khloe and North were doing duck lips,” she told NPR. “And I was like, ‘Oh no, come on.’”
